What should I do when I receive the battery?
Upon receiving your battery, please be aware that it may have a low State of Charge (SOC) due to transportation and storage. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend charging the battery immediately to prevent over-discharge.
If you intend to store the battery for an extended period without use, charge it to a SOC between 30% and 50% and perform maintenance every three months. This practice will help maintain its functionality and performance over time.
Can I connect the battery in series or parallel?
Dyness 36V 55Ah lithium battery supports connecting up to 4 identical batteries in parallel for up to 36V(38.4V)220Ah battery system. However, the battery do not support connect in series.
To connect in series or parallel, batteries should meet the below conditions:
identical batteries with the same battery capacity (Ah) and BMS (A);
from the same brand (as lithium battery from different brands has their special BMS);
purchased in near time (within one month).
Can I charge Dyness 36V 55Ah TM LiFePO4 lithium batteries in cold weather (under freezing temperatures)?
Dyness 36V 55Ah TM LiFePO4 batteries can charge between 0℃ to 50℃ / 32℉ to 122℉. The 36V 55Ah TM version has low-temperature charging protection function, it would cut off charging when it's below 0℃. It's recommended to charge the battery indoor during cold days.
