1. What is the rated capacity and voltage of the DL5.0C battery?
Each DL5.0C module delivers 5.12 kWh of energy (51.2 V, 100 Ah).
It supports parallel connection of up to 50 modules, allowing total capacity expansion up to 256 kWh for larger residential or commercial systems.
2. How can I install the DL5.0C system?
The DL5.0C can be installed in three ways — wall-mounted, floor-standing, or stacked (up to 6 layers).
Before installation, ensure:
The ON/OFF switch is in “OFF” position
Grounding is connected properly
Installation is performed by trained technicians in a dry, ventilated indoor environment between –20 °C ~ 55 °C.
3. What protection and safety features are built in?
The integrated Battery Management System (BMS) provides comprehensive protection, including:
Over-charge / over-discharge protection
Over-current protection (charge > 90 A or discharge > 110 A)
Short-circuit protection
Low / high-temperature protection (–20 °C ~ 65 °C)
Automatic self-shutdown after 72 hours of inactivity
4. Can it work in cold climates?
Yes.
Standard version: charging 0 °C ~ 55 °C
Heating version: charging –20 °C ~ 65 °C
The heating model ensures safe operation even in freezing conditions.
5. Which inverters are compatible with DL5.0C?
The battery supports CAN / RS485 communication and is compatible with many major inverter brands, such as SMA, Victron, GoodWe, Solis, Growatt, Deye, Solplanet, and Schneider.
Proper DIP switch configuration is required during setup.
6. What maintenance or troubleshooting is required?
The DL5.0C is maintenance-free.
If alarms occur (red ALM light or buzzer), refer to the manual for causes such as over-current, high temperature, or communication errors.
Common fixes include checking voltage (> 44.8 V), verifying DIP switch settings, and ensuring correct cable connections.
